The CanzArt group of artists (the name derives from the size of the group; limited to 15 members) was established in May 2003 by Jane Leitch to promote the works of these West Devon, East Cornwall based artists. The group have exhibited very successfully within the area, as well as being invited to exhibit either as a group or as individuals in various other exhibitions.

Paintings are held in collections both locally and internationally and members have exhibited in London, Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth. They also work to commission and on book illustrations.

Members paint in oils, watercolour, pastel and mixed media, in figurative and abstract styles and provide the art buyer with a rich source of affordable paintings. Subjects range from still-life, seascape, landscape with an emphasis on Dartmoor and portraiture both human and animal, for which commissions are accepted by most artists.
